An additional Plant for Energizing Productions from the Sun [APEPS] by SYCOMOREEN's Photovoltaics : innovative and efficient solar plants?

In the setting of the energetic renovation of the old buildings, SYCOMOREEN has designed and build an Additional Plant for Energizing Productions from the Sun [APEPS]. This installation is convenient for dwelling houses which have a yard, preferably orientated towards the South

It is made with a photovoltaic plant of 9 kWp, a framework of wood and wide transparent windows which are sticking on the existing walls : the half-transparent panels are producing about 12 000 kWh of electricity each year and allow in combination with the bright glazed openings the simultaenous catch of the thermal solar energy inside the building. The loan of this annex to the existing walls brings a thermal insulation which is significantly lowering the energy losses by :
1) reducing the thermal gradient between the inside and the outside of the dwelling (that is limiting the losses by thermal conduction) 
2) strongly decreasing the wind and the turbulences on some walls of the dwelling, (that is limiting the losses by conducto-convective carrying away)

Optionally, this available annex can be used as a bioclimatic garden all the year or even to shelter a swimming pool, or to stay a simple warehouse with a clay ground. Linked to the grid since october 2014, 29th and really feeding it with electrical energy since November 2014, 4th, this APEPS has already produced more than 2000 kWh for only 4 months of winter (november and december 2014, january and february 2015).

Through this triple effect of energetic lever (electric production - catch of the solar thermal energy - insulation of the building), such an installation is allowing a whole autonomy of the adjoining dwelling with heat and electricity [Energy-Plus-House] and another productions or complementary services according to the needs / wishes of the owners / operators.

SYCOMOREEN has granted the general design and and the electric installation of this plant which has been achieved in partnership with :
1) ISSOL [Belgium] , our supplier of transparent photovoltaic panels : models CENIT 220Wp with SOLRIF frame
2) The Franck VACHER's Facilities [France], our manufacturer and installer of Frameworks and Covers : tel  (33) 4 73 89 19 95
3) François MOREIRA Constructions (FM Constructions)[France] : our mason-digger for this project. : tel : (33) 6 20 49 11 69

 This APEPS will be soon equipped with the system  Overall Photovoltaics with Automated Liquid Enhancements (OPALE by SYCOMOREEN) . Other information will be subsequently published.

The estimated production should be about 12000 kWh / year, either a saving in CO2 dismissals of approximately 5520 kg / year. Besides, this APEPS power plant can contributes to reload some electric cars as CATHI or other hybrid vehicles with a clean electricity produced  to the nearest of its consumption, in order to reduce the on line losses. Finally, this 100% renewable energy makes more than to compensate the yearly middle consumption of 4 houses of 100 m² (3000 kWh / year). It is also equivalent to a carbon well which has the same effect as a french forest of 7920 m².
